Michelin Guide Singapore has unveiled the full selection for 2024 today. Oh, no awards ceremony this time?

This edition showcases a diverse array of 283 dining spots across the city, highlighting a variety of over 35 cuisine types.

On the guide are 3 restaurants with three-stars, 6 restaurants with two-stars, and 42 one-star restaurants.

The 3 star recipients include Les Amis, Odette, and Zen – the same as last year.

Among the highlights, Meta, led by Chef Sun Kim from Busan, Korea, is promoted to two Michelin stars.

Chef Kim’s innovative approach melds Korean culinary traditions with modern aesthetics.

I have just dined there. The dining experience is intimate, sharing a space with the kitchen for a chef’s table ambiance. A standout dish is the steamed Jeju abalone paired with gochujang seaweed risotto.

This year, four new establishments have earned one Michelin star.

They include Araya, co-helmed by Chilean chefs Araya and Guerrero, draws inspiration from their experiences in Spain and Japan.

Pangium by Chef Malcolm Lee showcases Straits cuisine with a modern twist using buah keluak in Singapore

There is also Pangium, led by Singaporean chef-owner Malcolm Lee, explores the rich heritage of Straits cuisine.

Named after a local plant, the restaurant pays tribute to traditional family recipes with a modern twist, focusing on indigenous ingredients like buah keluak.

Fiz, celebrated for its commitment to sustainability, features Malaysian flavors in Michelin Guide Singapore 2024

Notably, Singapore sees its second Michelin Green Star awarded to Fiz, emphasizing a commitment to sustainable dining.

This modern Malay eatery, led by Chef-owner Hafizzul Hashim, is designed around the flavors and memories of his childhood in Malaysia.
